A little info on the material I work with, this bioplastic is a recipe that I've created that includes agar powder, gelatin, glycerin and a few other natural ingredients. The material is heated on the stove by myself and later sculptured into forms/sculptures. The material is fully compostable/biodegradable. Some of the pieces I coat in an eco-epoxy resin as a finish, allowing them to be waterproof/weather resistant. The material contains no plastic or toxic ingredients- it is durable, translucent and dynamic.
